Heerekayi / Heerekai / ridge gourd in curd. Try this simple yet delicious, healthy curd or yogurt based recipe heerekai mosaru bajji / mosaru gojju.
Ingredients:
1 ridge gourd/heerekayi
wash and peel the skin. Cut into small pieces
2 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
few curry leaves
2 to 3 green chillies (cut into 2 pieces)
For masala :
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
little coriander leaves
around 1/2 cup water
1 cup yogurt/curd ( add little water and whisk it and keep it ready)
