lost recipes of prohibition Sakshi Makes Thekua For Chhat Pooja | Tyohaar Ki Thaali Special

Ingredients

500 gm Wheat flour
2 teaspoon ghee
1/2 cup Refined oil
1 cup Water
350 gm jaggery
1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
1/2 tablespoon grated coconut

Method

Step1. Heat water in a pan. Add jaggery and stir till it melts.

Step2. Remove from fire, and strain it. add ghee and allow to cool.

Step3. Add coconut and cardamom powder in the flour.

Step4. Now knead the flour with this syrup. Don't knead too soft. Make small rounds of it by drizzling some oil and flatten them. Make some patterns on them as you like.

Step5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these flattened balls.

Step6. Store in air tight containers.
