  12. Justin Luis: Great haul!!! 😃
  13. How Jen Does It: +Alicia Carter Awesome :).
  14. No Mad: Awesome video!!  Question about the chicken.  I assume you baked a chicken and used the leftover meat to make chicken salad and the bones, and maybe skin, to make the broth.  Am I even close?? I bake chicken often and freeze the leftover gravy / drippings then use a few spoonfuls with water in place of chicken broth in recipes.  But this looks better because you have the added flavor of the vegetables.
  15. arlene_donnelly35: i did  make the cookies and they were so good i brought them into work as a healthy treat for the girls :) thanks jen x

  25. How Jen Does It: +Cookfor mykids I'm sure they would love to see how fast they re-grow.
  26. PointingTheWeigh: Thankyou for sharing all your lovely recipes! I have a question, when making the granola bars, do I put the 1/3c peanut butter into the pan with the butter, honey and the 1/3c sugar and boil or do I mix the peanut butter in with the dry ingredients? Thankyou in advance! Linda (UK)
  27. Madzia M: @HowJenDoesIt super ideas thanks
  28. Grandma Frugal .Frugalnista of Orange County: Jen older people have been saving left over veggies, left over bread, gravy and sauces for years. We use the veggies just like you did and in soups. We use the bread for meat loaf and croutons, we use the gravy as a base for same type meat. Chicken for chicken, beef for beef etc. I love to see young people using older people methods. I have carrots, celery and left over broccoli in my freezer and I plan to make a chicken gumbo with chicken thighs in my slow cooker pot. I love scraps they come in handy! Especially veggies. The winter time is coming soon and root vegetables are perfect for freezing. Good for you Jen!
  29. Lisa Barnes: I love this video. We have 2 teenagers and we need a fair amount of snacks. I like for them to take a snack to school because they leave here at 7:00 but don't have lunch until noon or so. I break a granola bar into 2 pieces and put it in a snack zipper pouch and tell them to grab a quick cube when they go to their locker. Then there's the after school snacks. Thanks for the healthy home made alternatives. I'm trying the banana cookies today. I have the perfect bananas for it.
  30. Justin Luis: I have to make those granola bars!!!
  31. Kiddos Koral: Loving the cookie recipe. No sugar! Fabulous. I'll probably add a bit of honey but sounds great.
  32. Kiddos Koral: I'll keep that in mind. Thank you.
  33. How Jen Does It: +fluffypinkpuss Thank you so much! Hope you liked the cookies :).

  36. How Jen Does It: +marissa hawkes Aw! Thank you!
  37. How Jen Does It: +WifeMommyFamily Journey Haha! Did I make you hungry? :)
  38. How Jen Does It: +Kiddos Koral One of my boys loved the cookies. They are pretty sweet from the really ripe bananas so you might not need honey. It's up to you, of course :)
  39. TheHibbertClan: Love your food prep videos they've given me the push to start doing it myself, which has made me hectic mornings so much easier! (I have 7 kids) so now I actually have time to get a brush through my hair haha .. Thank you so much for the fab tips :)
